In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin

In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin - Erik Larson

This was another solid book by Erik Larson, but I felt like it was missing some of the magnetism of his other books. I don't know if it was the people involved, or if the story just didn't draw me in like some of his other books, but this one took a while to get into. It was a good read, and I liked it, it just wasn't as captivating as his other books.Overall, it's still a great read about Hitler's rise to power through the eyes of the American ambassador to Germany and his family.
