Meditation and Relaxation in Plain English - Bob Sharples This book is EXTREMELY basic. I would only recommend it to people who have never heard of meditation and are looking for something that explains what meditation is. There are a few exercises in the book, but it much more about the theory of meditation than the actual practice. You can skim the exercises in about 20 minutes for the most useful parts of the book, but it's really not a how-to manual. If you're looking for a book on how to get started meditating and relaxing and have ever gone to a yoga class or know a little bit about meditation in general, this is probably not the way to go.
