Described as "riotously funny" - I guess I just have a different sense of humor

This Is Where I Leave You: A Novel - Jonathan Tropper

Interesting, but it never really grabbed me, even though it's a fast read.  I know it's being made into a movie and I'm not really sure how they're going to do it - it's not really a family drama, but it's not a comedy either.  It's described as "riotously funny," but I guess I just have a different sense of humor, since it just wasn't hilarious to me.  There were parts that were mildly amusing, but it really just wandered aimlessly for a lot of the book.  Overall it was ok, just not great.
